Botrytis Diseases: Control and Treatments by Fungicides in NZ

Botrytis refers to a gray mold that occurs as bud rot. It can almost infect any given ornamental tree or shrub and is generally known to occur after summer. A tree that is dead and decayed with dried-up flowers is known to be attached to Botrytis. The tender areas of the plants are usually affected by this, leading to heavy damage. There are several symptoms to identify the occurrence of Botrytis. The spots of the same can be identified on the leaves, flowers, and stems of the trees. There is a range of Broad-Spectrum Fungicides that are used for controlling crown and root diseases that rust the leaf and flowers of trees. Identification of the Appearance of Botrytis Diseases The symptoms of this particular mold are quite symptomatic and thus appear quite prominently.
